The Fabrication Technician II is responsible for the fabrication of optical components without the direction of qualified trainer, a supervisor or a manager.
The Coating Technician, Level I is responsible for the front end and back end of the coating production process as well as some aspects of coating machine maintenance. The Coating Technician, Level I performs their duties under the direction of their supervisor or manager. 2nd shift hours are Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:30am.

The Fabrication Technician I is responsible for the fabrication of optical components under the direction of qualified trainer, a supervisor or a manager.
Position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Tucson Manufacturing location; review of financial statements and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.  Position will collaborate strongly with Sales and Business Lines in opportunities that result in product made in Tucson and with the subsequent production planning.

The Edmund Optics (EO) Global Design Team is looking for an Optomechanical Design Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you would work closely with optical designers to develop and analyze optomechanical designs to support our customers for a wide variety of applications and markets such as machine vision, medical diagnostics, and materials processing. The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field, as well as an understanding of optomechanical design principles, CAD modeling, and print drafting.
