Solutions Support Engineers at Edmund Optics (EO) work within the Manufacturing Services Group (MSG) of the Sales team and are responsible for directly interfacing with customers who are interested in learning more about EO’s custom manufacturing capabilities. Solutions Support Engineers perform job functions such as reviewing incoming custom requests for quote (RFQs), determining initial technical and business feasibility of such requests, and working with Solutions Engineers to establish market-competitive pricing and closing the sale. 
Technician Level III must assemble, align, test, and calibrate electro- and/or opto-mechanical subassemblies and instruments.  Assemble intricate electro- and/or opto-mechanical assemblies with precision tools and fixturing.  Integrate the electro- and/or opto-mechanical components and assemblies with state-of-the-art computers to perform the final system qualification and inspection.  Troubleshoot subassemblies, finished units, and/or production opto-mechanical assemblies and repair as necessary, all under the direction of the Production Manager.    
This individual is responsible for planning and facilitating studio and field-based video production work, including filming, editing, sound mixing, color correcting, output and distribution of Edmund Optics’ videos. This person works with other Marketing team members on the development, implementation, maintenance, and analysis of video content. Must be able to creatively plan and translate abstract concepts into effective visual form; work with technical and non-technical staff to organize and implement instructional or other types of video projects; manage filming and editing workflow. This position requires extensive knowledge of studio production, field production, and post-production.
Product support engineers at Edmund Optics (EO) are responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers utilizing optical components in a variety of application spaces (e.g. life sciences, biomedical, industrial inspection, semiconductor, R&D, and defense). They are part of a dynamic team that is extensively trained to assist customers with Edmund Optics’ commercial off-the-shelf components and custom manufacturing capabilities.  
The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for the qualification, development, and maintenance of Edmund Optic’s third-party suppliers. The SQE works closely with the Quality Assurance, Product Line Managers, and Supply Chain business units to improve product quality and Supplier collaboration.

They take ownership of activities across global facilities from initiation to production.  In addition, they contribute to the growth of the project management group and regularly participate with the training, development, and mentorship of earlier career Project Managers.
